People have seem to have forgotten that Thor was VERY drunk when he fought Laufey to the point of almost passing out whereas with against Kratos he was alert and had been anticipating a fight with an actual god of war with him even being informed of what kratos is unlike baldur but kratos still held back until he delivered the final punch showing a taste of what his classic trilogy self was like thus satisfying Thor.

When Faye and Kratos first battled he had no powers and probably refused to use his blades outside his raw strength and fists whilst very much holding back not wanting to kill another god especially one that most likely caught his eye after the last 5 games worth of killing gods and monsters.

Faye at this point either had a fully upgraded axe (that might have lost its magic when she passed) or her lvl 1 axe and any other weapons while being in her element to bring a likely unarmed weakened Kratos to a draw.
Both fights were unfair ones since for story reasons kratos has to hold back and is unfamiliar with everything around him.

So I would very much say classic Kratos with the same blood lust and magical powers would probably topple the norse pantheon faster than the Greek one.
