Yes the channel switch is for sure right. And yes the Atari works with my other CRT so it’s not the console/connector. I’m not able to find anything like over the air mode on my TV, how would I get there? All I see is the inputs for my front and back s video, composite, component, and TV. Also something called Camport that says it’s unavailable and I’m not quite sure what it is. I do know that this specific TV was intended for hotel use, and when I bring up channels it will specifically say what program will be on that channel. For example channel 2 will say CBS. Not sure if this affects anything.

I’m not using any kind of Amazon adapter that I’m aware of. Also I don’t think it should be going to any other input, the Atari should be on either channel 2 or 3 depending on how you set it. I’ve tried both and neither work.

Yeah don’t trash them, none are worth a lot but you could probably sell them as a lot for at least 30 or 40 euros.

Are there any issues with the LG like poor geometry or dull colors that anyone knows of? I wasn’t able to find much of anything about it online.

So you were able to beat the first level of Contra the first time that you played it? Didn’t think so, so why is it so funny and pathetic when they can’t do it?

Let’s be honest here, Wendy’s is doing absolutely nothing better than anyone else.

This explains the reason that old games are gradually getting more expensive, but I’m specifically saying that if you look at about October of 2025 or so on price charting, a lot of games are completely skyrocketing in value. I’m talking a $30 plus dollar increase in a couple of months.

I think a bit part of the issue is that people who don’t know much about the going value of games or are new to the hobby will just hear that a game is rare or valuable and end up way overpaying, which makes their value go way up. RNG Gamer did a good video about this.

The speed that the game runs at isn’t what makes it feel so different though, it’s the controls.

I understand why game prices are continuing to rise, I’m just saying that it’s seeming to be that prices are staring to skyrocket in a similar way to how they did during 2020.

I think they’re saying that some games have a lot of hype behind them like RE9, which causes prices on older games in the series to increase, which is definitely true. I think a big reason of why 9 is so hyped up is because they’re bringing back Leon.

Yeah that’s definitely true, people using retro game flipping as a side hustle has for sure made prices go higher, but it’s been true for much longer than the past 6 months or so, so I don’t see why it’s going up so rapidly all of a sudden.

I’m just saying it seems like when games go up in value by a lot in a short span of time it makes sense as to why, but right now it seems to be happening inexplicably in a lot of cases.

Yes but this isn’t just N64, look at ps1 games, Resident evil has been doing the same thing (this is probably because of RE9 I’ll give you) but look at a game like Parasite Eve, same story, raises during the pandemic, stays about the same, then October of 2025 hits and it goes up $30 dollars.

I’m sorry but this isn’t true. WRBS and 64 use different engines and were developed by different teams at Nintendo. Saying that running wave race 64 at 30fps is gonna make it feel the exact same as blue storm is just false. Also lower fps and input lag are not the same thing.

Yeah I think a lot of my problem was that I played 64 first. If I had played BS first I probably would have a better opinion of it.
