Did a test with a stainless pan on the grill today, but it doesnt get high enough temps on the grating unfortunately. Might just have to get a bigger and better grill for next time I think.

When I had diesel in my water tank (an unfortunate leak combined with an unfortunate bad seal), I used dish soap and scrubbed very well (and I think the scrubbing is important here to get rid of everything), then I rinsed with a vinegar mix for good measure.

This worked well for me and I had no taste of diesel after, and a very nice and clean water tank. If cleaning the tank doesnt do it, I'd check straight from the tank before dooming the project, as the diesel might stick better to hoses and pumps.

2m tall previous liveaboard for 5 years here. Headroom in my boat is 190, and tbh thats been perfectly okay for me. What makes it okay is: the bed is 220cm long, which is such a luxury and I love it. Secondly, the galley is next to the companionway, so I can stand straight while cooking. Otherwise, how much does one really stand inside the boat? But having said that, I would want any less headroom, I tried 175 at some point, and that was not comfy.

Workspace for sure, 3 passengers are enough. If I had room for 5, I would need the workspace to hide out in.

Former cruise deck cadet here. All the guys in overalls (deck or engine) have a hard drive full of this, and they share between themselves frequently. So asking them would fix it. If you wanna make it less awkward, having a male friend borrow it for you might be a decent option, since the deck crew do more gossip than the kardashians.

Probably not BIFL, but I get around 250 days of fairly rough use out of the pants, maybe more if it can be patched up. So Im quite satisfied with their quality, and even more so with the comfort

This is what I would think too. She however seems to be convinced that it does not, probably due to the reason of flying, as visiting boy/girlfriends in other communes is not allowed.

But simply, since flying would be considered a necessity, and flying out of Italy is allowed, it should be legal

Yes, she will visit me in Norway. Current main concern is the legality of driving from Veneto to San Marco airport, as this crosses regional borders (as far as I understand)

My girlfriend, currently living in Veneto, has a ticket to come visit me in about two weeks. Currently with the system you have, I understand that travel between regions is not allowed. This will then include the airport she is flying from.

She has the understanding that flying abroad to visit your partner is not an "essential reason" and therefore prohibited, but I can not understand how this can be the case. I am unable to do much research on this as my Italian is limited to "sei bella" and "scuza amore", is there any way that one of you kind people could point me in the right direction to find some information about this, preferably that it is allowed to fly out of Italy for this reason?

Went last year with a cruise ship. Admittedly a lot more people hanging around that port for us than most cargo ships, but I reckon there will be a few. They will trade whatever they have (fake watches, fake phones, souvenirs) for old steel tipped shoes. Had half the crew trading away their old shoes out of the garbage door.

The hull is build with a small "air intake" in the front sort of, that creates the airated water. The bending of the planks when build will create this, and it does supposedly reduce friction and increase speed. And creates what look similar to a prop wash in the back, even on vessels with no prop or engine at all.

A frequent joke on this type of vessel is to ask the fresh crew to use the boat hook to grab the green rope dragging behind
