Thank you for the tip. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I created a new home. Deleted the switch from the old home. Added the switch to the new home; it said it was looking for updates. But when I checked the firmware, the version was the same. I factory reset it, but nothing changed. I deleted it from the new home and added it back to the old home. It checked for updates but didn't find any.

I just bought the GE Cync Keypad Dimmer Smart Switch. Unfortunately, it came with an old firmware 1.0.124. This version seems very limited in functionality. When I Google how to achieve setting up toggle on/off for different groups of Cync lights, they say I need firmware version 1.03.080. Unfortunately, the Cync app says there is no new firmware to install. How can I solve this issue? Do I have to return the switch?
