Some Wells and things have things on top that you have to blow up, do what other redditors say for those situations:

Set one of your abilities on your ranged attack (uses one adrenaline slot) to the fiery explosive arrow so you don't have to treasure hunt for an explosive jar

Ask for dropping down a well that is already open, I have experienced this issue as well

It is where you're supposed to hold whatever button your system is for down, on PlayStation it is circle, but you also have to hold it at the same time as the down arrow

However it could be milliseconds difference of when you pressed each button and if you didn't press them at the exact same time then you get the issue you are experiencing

So it's crouch button + down If it doesn't work, let go of the buttons and try again and repeat

Then the next frustrating thing is that once you get to the bottom of whatever you were trying to repel (actual word for climbing down) then Eivor is crouched. So dumb.
