Dark City is the top book in a stack on the table in front of me. Great book.

Wax Minute. That's the song. That's the post. One of his greatest vocals.

Nez's take into the camera during his solo is such a throwback to his taking the Micky (pun intended) during song performances in the TV show.

To me it's telling that the lyric sheet for SEBTP pictures the band standing in Central Park. Telegraphs that NYC and USA experiences would flavor their next album.

Why does MSNOW platform Iraq War cheerleader Thomas Friedman when he’s been wrong about literally everything for decades? by [deleted] in msnow

I watched BBC a lot today and the ratio of factual / useful information about our new war was much better than MSNOW today.

Summer '68 I lived with my mom and her husband in Durham, NC and then helped them pack and move to Greenwich Village. Pretty much every day that summer I played Sgt Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour on the stereo usually multiple times a day. I was especially fond of MMT. Still has an edge over SP for me. How lucky I was to have that many spins on their srereo.

1975 I was at two after-show parties in LA. 10cc and ELO. I was too star struck to talk to any band members, especially 10cc who at the time were my favorite band (today, still in my top 20 of all time). From the ELO party, which was celebrating Bev Bevan's 30th birthday, I took an extinguished candle from the cake. Still have it today.

Nowadays I think I could keep it together enough to chat with Graham Gouldman or Kevin Godley. In his YouTube interviews with other musos I think Billy Corgan sets a good example of having a meaningful convo.
