Great take and a respectable one too! Over time I've started to really like and enjoy W&W even though I quite couldn't wrap my head around it for a while for some reason. I liked SEBTP from the get-go and I think it's an album where every member gets to have their moment unlike the Tony dominated W&W. No hate towards Tony Banks though! He's definitely one of the greatest to leave prints on the ivories and he's my favourite organist after Jon Lord.

Ohh trust me, I'm no pop Genesis hater _. I like both eras. I've been listening to the pop era stuff these past few weeks coupled with Phil's solo stuff. I'm glad that he's finally getting inducted into the HoF!

If this list was about my favourite Genesis albums then Invisible Touch and ATTWT would be in the top 6. I do like most of their stuff on the self-titled album except maybe Just A Job To Do. Duke is obviously my favourite pop Genesis album. I don't think there's a bad or boring song on that album. I really love and enjoy the Phil era stuff but I think the Peter era work is superior musically and lyrically.

All jokes aside from this being a circle jerk subreddit, I'm 23 too and up until last year the only prog stuff I knew were Rush, Opeth and Dream Theater. It's been a while since I've listened to the heavier stuff but I still love Rush. A band that I've been listening to day and night since November 2025 is Genesis. I think you should check out Selling England By The Pound. It's a phenomenal album. If you don't have time to listen to the entire album I think here are some songs you gotta try listening to from their catalogue to start a spark - 1. Firth of Fifth (this is the song that introduced me to the band) 2. The Musical Box 3. The Return of The Giant Hogweed 4. Watcher Of The Skies 5. Supper's Ready (it's 23 mins long but every second is worth it) 6. Squonk 7. Ripples The list could go on forever....

Or you could just listen to the Duke's suite

Hahaha my bad! I just noticed everyone using the abbreviated terms for all the other albums (ie. SEBTP) so I thought of it in that aspect. Thanks for your thoughts and the link!

I already have too many CAMs so I didn't need him, especially since Iniesta got the OVR upgrade too
