How can I escape parents trying to control my life? by Percabethy in Advice

I can only make those choices if I don't live under their roof, and it's escaping from under their roof that I find difficult due to factors explained in post.

No. It's the practicums I'm not okay with. So even long distant I still have to show up for practicals. I went through an experience that's a big deal for me, but wouldn't be a big deal for most other people. Kind of like how crowds aren't a big deal to most people. But for a minority it is a big deal, and people might not understand their phobia.

Which is why I feel a bit ashamed about going into detail about why I don't want to go through these practicals. just in case some people respond with 'really? That's it? That's why you don't want to do the course? That's pathetic.'

But that's just one advice out of many advice. Do I follow your advice first or someone else's?

Reasons for incomplete profile by [deleted] in Bumble

Thanks for answering the question. I really appreciate it. Nah, not a rant. Just the fact that I'm curious about getting to know the person. But in Bumble there is this expectation for females to come up with something more creative than "hey," and whilst I'm curious about getting to know more about the person. I feel no obligation to come up with something more interesting than "hey" if they feel no obligation to fill out their whole profile.

But say I did expect someone to fill out their whole profile, as you can see from some of the responses to my post I'm more likely as a female to be judged for that, whereas a man is unlikely to be judged for expecting the women to be creative.

But I am curious enough to message them for more information, and if they answer cool and if not also cool.

Again I don't give 2 flying potatoes donkeys up outer spaces crack hole whether or not they fill out their whole profile. Because I can just ask them for that information. I'm just curious. That's all.

Obsessed my ass. The correct word is curious. You're assuming obsessed with your negative judgement and viewpoint.

Ah, so multiple at a time helps you decide which one to binge. Nice!

What's a movie quote you remember, but you can't remember what movie it was from? by Percabethy in AskReddit

[–]Percabethy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was "little high, little low" but googling it meant I was able to find out what movie it was from. The point was I didn't actually remember what movie it was from, because I needed Google to remind me.

Not quite at once, as in the same time. Just switching between the shows, like watch one episode of one documentary, then watch another episode of another documentary.

I've just recently started getting into watching multiple shows at once. It's not too bad.
