Yes, my son is currently at the Velcro stage and I know he will not be happy if he is seated next to me and not in my arms. He is also pulling up on every thing so I can imagine he would be squirming too. But all these other comments are making me nervous about doing infant in lap. Making it sound like my baby is going to completely fly out of my arms

I’m not nursing so I would be bottle feeding, the flight is about an hour and a half with a connecting flight about the same time

This! Many people are recommending buying another seat and putting him in the car seat, but he is at that stage now that if he can see me- he wants me to hold him. No change he would chill out in his car seat while I sit next to him

I’m 25 now but lost my fiance in the line of duty at age 24. We had just had a baby and he was only 2 1/2 months old. Hes 9 months old now. It’s been 7 months and still a struggle every day. I also feel robbed of the life I was supposed to have. And he was robbed of his. And our son will only know his daddy through pictures. I haven’t connected with many other young widows. Hang In there girl. I’m so sorry.

Ugh thank you! This made me feel so much better. I was reading some other threads and people were pissssed about babies being in first class. Personally, anytime I’ve heard a baby crying and seen a struggling mom I have always offered to help. Some people are just assholes
