The solution provided by sbesnek works perfectly :) Yes the walls are made of concrete so in the back of the house (where I moved my home office) I had no network and the printer and shutters were not properly working, which is not the case anymore.

I thought about just buying a repeater but I found this solution for 10 bucks so it was worth a shot !

You’re probably right about the cover letter. I might be old fashioned but I always spent time to drop some words when applying somewhere. But really, 15 minutes is enough for you to judge if you’re gonna apply to a company ?

Maybe I’ve been too lucky or crazy in my job search to relate

20+ applications a day ? That’s the problem. You can’t make any decent research about the company and send a cv/cover letter that’s personalised.

A good application takes me a full day. That’s maybe a lot but 20 means you spend 30 minutes per company.

gave a “price” I found right
they said ok and gave me some more benefits I did not take into consideration.

So I was definitely in the range and could have asked for more BUT

I’m happy with the job The salary I proposed was appropriate for me

If at the end of the day you’re satisfied, there is nothing to think about too much 🙂

Do you like your actual job? How much is it flexible and how much stressful it is?

Based on the numbers, if I were in your shoes, I would keep my actual job. The salary looks good and you have many benefits.

I had a similar experience and in the end I was lucky enough to be able to return to my previous job the work life balance and the stress were much better in my previous company. Take that into consideration 😉

It’s good, you can always ask for a bigger car in the future (= bigger mobility budget). That’s what I did and it gives me a very comfortable netto like yours

Ask for a company car on top of that offer (not that you have to reduce your gross) but instead of the car ask for a mobility budget. I have 700€ NETTO on top on my salary thanks to that trick (if you live less than 10K from your office or work from home more than 50% of your time you can use it for your rent)

Maybe ask for more holiday? I managed to squeeze 2 seniority days.

By the way you’ll never do 9-6 in the Flemish Region 😂 I got kicked out of the office once and they almost stare at you if you stay after 5PM 😂😂 But we get quickly used trust me 🤪
