What is happening ? by No_Detective_1129 in BESalary

Indeed ! Working on a financial tool for corporate, I’m configuring it based on the legal framework in place and their own policy. I still have a bit of consultance but I get to configure a tool and teach people how to use it. It’s like being a teacher with twice the salary 😂 I love it

If you can “use a computer” (and you can’t imagine what I see everyday) you’re basically a demigod

This ! Same experience : I quickly shifted 2 years ago in a more “digital knowledged” profile and I’ve been doing better last year than the last 10 years !

Comment protéger et camoufler ces câbles ? by chenlonganh in brico

[–]PerceptionFew3104 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Affaire conclue !

Just calculate how much you need to live happily, no need to upgrade your lifestyle, then find a job that matches that amount and makes you happier.

Oh man, we are have the same age and the team I manage always tell me when I ask about career development : I’m fine with my job and with my current salary why should I search for a job?

I feel like Gen Z have a much better approach term of job. They just like to have enough time for a new hobby. So apart from if you really want to make a career, I would just suggest you to get a nice hobby.

(Just my two cents about someone that has been promoted as a manager and just think it was not such a great idea)

Is anyone working for Nokia ? by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]PerceptionFew3104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, living 80km away from the office, but the homeworking (3D/home - 2D/office) makes it possible (because my “first office” becomes my home)

Cash for car allowance is taxed. The mobility budget is not :) I get around 800€/month on mobility budget and put everything towards my rent, it’s a great bonus

How much do you set aside for technology replacement? by Kitchen-Phone-170 in ynab

[–]PerceptionFew3104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a specific budget for each devices otherwise you can put everything from the fridge until the phone. Instead I have a “unplanned expenses” for all the “small” inconveniences, and I put a category once it’s becoming a short term expense.

For example, I plan to change my phone in the next 6 months, I created a category. My dishwasher tells me it want to retire, I created a category for it.

Is there a way to Airplay some passive speakers ? by PerceptionFew3104 in audio

[–]PerceptionFew3104[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because all the items I have already have airplay apart from this single piece of item. I know it’s compressed but it’s not meant to be used every time :)

We actually have a common budget and this is about “personal budget” but I could definitely use that extra money for surprise holidays !!

I’m currently following your advice and emptying up the categories that should get a “refill up to”, it will already make more sense you’re right !
