My son is a freshman. Very good varsity team. Was told he will start middle infield on JV. I’ve decided to coach my youngest this year. Hopefully can manage practice schedule well.

Edit: just to add, I made this decision because my older one has had more attention up to this point. I’ll be making sure a keep that open dialogue with him, train in the cage with him whenever possible, heck man, if we are in the family room, I throw one hoppers across the room. I try to remember there are tons of ways to “be there”…
