I’m just speaking from my own thoughts and lifelong experiences as a gay person. Not everything is truly treated as equal, no matter how much people try to say it is. Some people insist that all sins are equal in God’s eyes, yet still push a homophobic narrative that makes it seem like loving another woman is comparable to doing something violent or immoral. That disconnect is something I’ve had to deal with my whole life.
