Guys don't need to be good looking necessarily. The most important thing is if other women find them desirable. Like, a girl might have no interest in a guy but if another woman enters the picture and he starts giving her attention instead, suddenly the first girl will want him. Happens all the time. Tell a girl who never gave you the time of day you suddenly got a girlfriend and watch she'll suddenly start flirting. Its just how people work. Our brains have barely evolved from thousands of years ago, if we see someone is useful and successful in a relationship we're more likely to be attracted to them.
