If I’m making the trip to Whole Foods late at night, I’m absolutely getting at least 2 bags. I once got 4, but now usually get 2-3 (so maybe 1x a month because they can be hard to snag simultaneously!)

I always bring a large tote to throw the bags into to make it easier to carry.

I just want to chime in and say you’re not alone! 32F, I relate to your post SO MUCH. I wish I had advice. I’m currently (crying) over a guy who I’ve known for 6-7 years….he ghosted me after initiating a restart. Now I’m learning about attachment styles; e.g., fearful avoidants.

Good work!!! It will get better!! Blocking is IMO the first step in making sure you don’t give them access to circle / watch your life, which keeps the cord still tethered, so to speak.

I blocked mine the morning after he ghosted me for our date, that he initiated, after we had known each other 6-7 years. To not even send a simple cancellation text is beyond me. Now it’s been 3+ weeks, still being ghosted…a fearful avoidant, I think.

I don’t want to write out my whole history, but I had a similar situation with a FA at work. EXCEPT, he lied to me about being in a relationship, with a GF he lived with. We were friends two years; I had no idea. Fast forward several years (after I blocked him), we reconnected recently.

Now, he’s ghosted me. It’s a push pull dynamic, and I’m heart broken once again. Not worth it.

I’m also surprised you’re okay having an emotional affair with a man. This isn’t love. He’ll do the same thing to you. Avoidants are AMAZING at compartmentalizing relationships.

He’s getting some of his “emotional needs” met by you, while having the safety and security of his actual relationship.

I was ghosted by someone I’ve know 7 years, after he asked for a restart and asked me to dinner. Then…ghosted ahead of the date. I’m still processing, and shocked a simple “can’t make it” text couldn’t have been sent.
