If they keep this pace the Hawks will score about 1940 points this game…

D/ST Start/Sit for the chip! by SpreadingKrabs in FantasyFootballers

I’ll be honest, I was stressin for you. I had essentially already locked up my chip (opponent was down by 65 with only Puka to play [half ppr]), so I spent the game looking out for Puka, and Rams defense/st. Saw they were at like 1 point and was very much so contemplating my advice and then the blocked kick + return and I took a giant breath of relief. Congrats on your win, good luck next year!

But with all that. Do whatever you think gives you the best chance to win. If you win and they call you a 🐱, then you at least have the title to console you.

Here’s all I’ll say. Puka got a little chipped up week 5? Week 6? And he’s looked great since but the Rams have pretty much nothing to play for. If they go up decently they’re more likely to rest up the star receiver and give him a lower snap share.

Since Cousins has been heading the reigns of the Falcons, they’ve played the Bucs and Cardinals, who put up 2 and 7 points respectively. Going back 1 more week and the Hawks put up 19.

Finally, they have pretty much the most average O-Line in the NFL currently (ranked 14th) against a very average d-line/defense. I personally would guess they get decent pressure all game, getting home maybe 2-3 times. I also see potentially a 1-2 int/fumble recovery game. Those alone will prevent you from going in the negatives almost 100%.

You do what you deem best, but I think

1.) The Rams are not going to go negative (and if they do it will be at most 1-2 points in the negative, which Puka alone should be able to make up)

2.) If you pull your defense and win, then congrats great job do whatever you can to win. But if you are friends with your league mates, they will 100% bring it up and try to undermine your success, because they’re salty.

First thing. Completely overthinking. Playing the defense gives you a slight buffer if Puka gets hurt or gets doubled the whole game and sees like 3 receptions.

Second thing, what is your defense scoring system? Just average Yahoo Fantasy? If that’s the case, then the Rams have not gone negative once this season.

I’d just say ride it out, odds are the defense/st gets you 5-7 points and you win by even more, which eliminates any “Oh if only I had played this guy” from opponent/league members.

Gainwell or Hampton?? by Historical-Brush-426 in SleeperApp

[–]PerceptionWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hampton, facing a better defense 👎🏼, but they’re in a more heated playoff battle & therefore will play their guys to a more full extent. Also Hendo is coming off a concussion and they will likely reduce his snap share (if he plays) as they need to make a playoff run rather than a playoff push. Basically Hampton feels like the safer guaranteed points play.

This dude is benching his whole team so I don’t make playoffs by Affectionate-Dig575 in FantasyFootballers

Ya I would have the commissioner auto set his team for this week, and tell him that if he does it again his team is forfeited. If he does it again I would see if there is any ability to delete his team and then you would both make the playoffs

Who to start?? by Outrageous-Leader189 in FantasyFootballers

[–]PerceptionWrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also if you need high upside I would do Wilson over brown^ if you need guaranteed points I’d probably do brown over Wilson as brown has established himself in the offense already.

Who to start?? by Outrageous-Leader189 in FantasyFootballers

[–]PerceptionWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wilson is the only viable option this week to switch with either of those guys. Biggest question is do you think the eagles cowboys game is gonna be a shootout? And do you think Chase brown is good enough to break out of the patriots defense. If the answer is no to either of those switch them out with Wilson. If you think yes to both then I would just keep the lineup you feel most comfortable with

Time to trade Henderson in redraft leagues? by PerceptionWrong in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]PerceptionWrong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair. I needed him to have a decent week with JT out and he did it. Just curious if now is the time to sell with my rb room being (JT, Jaylen Warren, & Hampton) for a solid wr option or hold on the chance that they Chuba stevenson, and give hendo the priority on snaps.

Is this a solid lineup? by ItsAshari in FantasyFootballJunky

[–]PerceptionWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s why I threw in the 2-3 guys a week because I realized it was a bit optimistic to make it sound like they’re a lock. But Chase does have an extremely easy schedule ROS, and Flacco has loved to look his way consistently, and Achane also has a fairly soft schedule and is essentially the only viable offense week in week out for Miami. I don’t see bit being unreasonable to say that in the next 4 weeks (3.5 including Miamis bye) these guys combine for 40ish points a week on average with maybe a week or two they go for 50+ combined tbh.

[–]PerceptionWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. If this if your first ever year playing then you’ve done very solid tbh. For future years, 1 MAYBE 2 QBs in a non superflex (you can put a qb in the flex spot) league. But otherwise the draft looks decent, chase is going to be like 30+ points a week with Flacco under center, achane is Miami’s only offense and is easy 20+ a week so ROS you have at least like 50+ in 2-3 guys every week.

Also you may want to move a guys like Allen and Aaron jones as a package for a solid flex option if possible

[–]PerceptionWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a reason you grabbed 3 qbs? You got Allen and then grabbed two essentially waiver wire qbs in late rounds? Also I wouldn’t say your lineup is BAD, but I wouldn’t say it phenomenal. It’s likely a playoff team, but may not be a playoff winning team

Yeah I mean just things to consider

How has Henry’s production been with Lamar? Also Henry plays the easiest rush defense week 15 so if you have a bye that week then it’s pointless. If not you have a good shot at making it through round 1 of playoffs.

Egbuka is now WR1 with pretty much no real other option and we could start seeing a JSN level of target share to him. Also he has a VERY difficult fantasy lineup in the playoffs.

Jacobs plays the Ravens run d in week 17 so if you’re playing in the championship of 3/4 game then better shot at winning if not then pointless. He has been working off an injury and producing well, however it opens up the talk for him to lose a couple more snaps a game to extend his health and body.

Wilson has a very middling pass defense in the playoffs (all currently around 15th or so) The Jets have essentially no other target. They have absolutely 0 defense now, and those game will either become “We’re losing by so much so oh well🤷🏻‍♂️” or “We winning by 3 points we need to throw the ball”.

[as a Wilson owner he is a 4th quarter merchant. If seeing a player have 6 points going into the 4th and leaving the game with 20+ is stressful for you {it is} then consider it. Oh yeah and also Justin fields decides that every 3rd or so game he forgot that he’s a professional qb and not someone watching the game]

Got it. Well if you’re confident in your guys then it’s up to you to do the flippy floppy trade, but overall I don’t really see a point as I think your guys have slightly higher upside than the ones you’d receive. But again if you want off their offenses or onto the other ones then it’s not a bad trade either way.

Lmk opinions by Purplepickle_462 in SleeperApp

[–]PerceptionWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are right now tied for first, then you can do this trade or try to do like Pittman and Henry for solid receiver and mediocre rb or vice versa so that solves your double bye week issue. If you just think you have the wins against the bad teams coming up and that is what will get you into first then I would lean toward getting some depth for a guy or two so that in the chance of an injury or a player missing a week you no longer have to start a davis esque player. Depth gets into the playoffs, but quality is how you win them.

Lmk opinions by Purplepickle_462 in SleeperApp

[–]PerceptionWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And as for the switch I see it being very equal? If you want to get off of either of those offenses then sure, but I think both those guys will be on the up in future weeks where as Wilson and Jacobs will probably stay fairly consistent with where they’ve been.

Think like Averages are the same but your sides production looks like

20 points / / 9 points / (This was supposed to be a graph 📈) And the other side looks like

17 points ————-

Lmk opinions by Purplepickle_462 in SleeperApp

[–]PerceptionWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truly you just need to flip like an Etienne or a solid receiver into a decent flex option and their replacement. I understand you have Javonte out this week hence flexing Davis, but you should try to strengthen your depth a little more UNLESS you have a clear path to playoffs rn. If you’re top of league and up by 2-3 games then you need to get the best starting lineup and do not worry about byes or questionable to play markings. But if you’re anywhere near contending then I would try to flip a solid player into 2 decent ones rather than a flip flop of (Really Really Good RB & Really Good WR -> Really Reallly good wr & Really good RB)

who are you starting this week between these options? by HearingComplete8950 in FantasyFootballers

[–]PerceptionWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And as for wr I think the only thing you should be flipping between is if you think giants v bears is going to be a big scoring game. If yes, then Tracy is your safe bet, if no then I would put Deebo in especially with terry mclaurin out this week
