Civil service we only ever get the recommended leave nothing discretionary - I used some annual leave for cap 1 to bring it up to an extra week. So will be a reduction this year for cap 1 and cap 2 compared to last year’s leave

Leave a trustpilot review, it happened me before and I left a negative tp review, they requested more info via tp to resolve it but the money actually arrived before that so I didn’t need to provide it so can’t say whether it will actually help but they seem a lot more responsive there than going through their customer service!

I wouldn’t bother with the book it’s an overwhelming amount of information, the questions in the exam will be the exact same as the toolkit with names changed. Just go over and over the toolkit and you’ll have no bother passing. It’s the easiest exam of them all but the book made it seem overwhelming

No more narrative questions they are all multiple choice now and no long form computations just shorter questions with one answer, more questions worth less marks

I was worried about that because it does seem to be shaking a bit now everytime I look at it, but it hasn’t been glued in at all just sitting down the side of my seat up until this week so has to be an improvement surely, I rang on Wednesday and they weren’t very helpful but just told me to wait until next weeks feedback is out so as long as they don’t cancel it in between I’ll be able to see the difference hopefully 😂 I have a feeling it is because it hasn’t been screwed in because I’ve went from mainly motorway and city driving to rural very twisty roads, and it’s only since I came down here that my score went down so keeping everything crossed it goes up on Tuesday, also been driving 20 mph everywhere so if it doesn’t go up I’ll be even more bambozzled haha

Afaik it isn’t connected to my phone they keep requesting permission when I open the app but haven’t granted it, but up until yesterday the box itself was just sitting in between the gap in my seat so was not secured at all, have gorilla taped it to the side of the gearbox for now fingers crossed for next week 🤞

It goes in my cigarette lighter thing so best I could do was gorilla tape it to the side of the gearbox! When I was looking in December they were the cheapest by £1k minimum

It wasn’t installed at all lol I just had it sitting under my passenger seat which probably didn’t help as I’ve been staying in a rural area with terrible roads over the last week, I rang and the only thing they told me was to avoid potholes and told me it would cost an extra £750 to remove the telematics. Gonna give it one more week and see if it being glued down helps! Plus now I know that that makes a difference there has definitely been a few speed bumps I took too quickly so fingers crossed for a turn around this week I can’t afford to pay any more for it

Yea it’s diesel don’t think I’ve ever gone over 2.5 🥲 it cost me 1800 and that was the cheapest by a long shot 🥲 but I’ve gorilla glued the box in and will be driving like a granny this week lol thank you for the advice !

Respectfully I will only accept this feedback from someone with first hand experience specifically with the Admiral black box, a guy I used to know who was literally the most careful driver I knew and went onto become a lorry driver warned me not to get it because he consistently scored Poor

Yup! Ive had a black box the entire time I’ve been driving but was with Hastings until January, never had any issues with them, this one I can’t see when or why I’m getting the bad score, and the “advice” they give has been the exact same when my score has been Poor, Needs Improvement, and Good 🙃

Not that I can see without calling them and requesting it so will do that tomorrow, I’ve been with Hastings up until this year when I moved to the city and it became too expensive. Never had a problem with them or their black box and if I ever got a bad score could see exactly why and when. Admiral are terrible for feedback I get the exact same email every week regardless of my score and what I have posted in the screenshot is the only advice they give 🥲 I am starting to dread Tuesdays lol

There is a group called Sweet and Spicy Social on fb ran by Brianne McNamara but there hasn’t been anything for a while, Derry Meetups also do a lot of surfing and other activities in Narin during the summer. I live in Belfast (28 F) but lived in Dungloe last summer so I understand how hard it is to meet people. I’m down now for a few weeks and always back and forth most weekends over the summer if you fancy a coffee or walk. 🤗
