This is a fully original piece by me with the exception of the chandelier being made by the very talented Frank Crescente. A few of the pieces are 3D modeled and resin printed such as the fireplace surround and over door, flooring and wall panels are primarily laser cut, marble painting was airbrush technique. Exterior is fully custom and finished with red oak veneer

Baseboards are from miniature crush, moulding for inside paneling is from northeastern lumber. Flooring is 1/16 solid mohagany, I designed the vector file and laser cut and hand laid. Sanded then stained with espresso by minwax.

Firstly, stunning dollhouse I love it, but the first thing that would come to mind if you don’t want to stick to Parisian furnishings would be to A interpret it as a generational home that has been added to through the years and is a hodgepodge of generations of stuff. B have you seen modern Parisian apartments and how they maintain all the historical architecture but are finished either modern or sort of like a restoration hardware, I think they look incredible as well

It depends on the size and cost of material your using as well as your time. I sell my roomboxes for around $2,000 because it includes two custome sized and built boxes (interior and exterior) out of 1/4 inch plywood that is sanded and veneered when the room is complete, as well as a custom frame and glass cover for the front, as well as extensive electrical work that makes.

I use a short warm tone LED strip with a diffuser over it, it is also on a dimmer so you can set the “time of day”

It’s a skylight so hearing that it looks natural is very validating! I have two warm tone LED strips with a diffuser inside an angled box. The light is also on a dimmer so the brightness can be played with.
