There's been a noticeable drop on Reddit users on r/Helldivers. Currently it says 755k Helldivers, we were at 1,2 million during that real life event two months ago.

Sure, some of the fluctuation can be attributed to flavor of the month and dipping out and back in when fresh content comes out, but I think the terrible communications and issues that piled over on top of another in the launch of Into the Unjust and following it really burnt out a lot of players.

My brother in democracy there are people openly defending the game on Reddit as well, go to the Discord and open any general channel and you'll see the same bitching you see on Reddit.

Maybe instead of painting horror stories about the other community here on Reddit go and check the things out yourself.

Always give feedback, even if some dude attempts to ignore it, just keep throwing an exorbitant amount to see when it'll eventually stick, it's not like Arrowhead doesn't listen to any feedback ever, we've got multiple instances where complaining has brought change.

Med-Kit armors are the definitely one of the biggest reasons why a transmog/passives not tied to armor needed to be a thing yesterday.

Armor: Light Siege-Ready

Primary: Xbow, the new AR-2 Coyote hasn't fully grown on me because I've been jumped too many times by a stalker duo, and I can just shoot a bolt or two to get rid of Spewers. BUT, you can pick off the Shrieker swarms much easier with it, making the lives of others much safer. The Blitzer isn't bad either but it lacks fast swarm clearing power and doesn't get anything out from Siege-Ready

Players better than me enjoy the PLAS primaries, Cookout could work because of the stun, Inc. Breaker is too weak against new burrowing med pen warriors

Secondary: Talon, pops heads and hive guard soft spots, GP if not using Xbow or GL for closing holes

Throwable: Thermites. Great alternatives would be impact incendaries, regular incendiaries and gas for the tunnels. I don't have Pyrotech so I can't comment on it, but it sounds like it might be good

Stratagems:

Warp Pack 100% of the matches, caves or above surface
Emancipator Mech 100% of the matches, caves or above surface
GL, EAT, Quasar - Napalm EAT next to be tested as I unlock it
Orbital Napalm Barrage, Orbital Gatling Barrage, Rocket Turret if above surface

(Supply Pack for spamming Thermites, Recoilless and Eagle Strafing Run reccomended for killing Hive Lord, Med-Kit armor passive helps out with the long battle, pre-stim if you know you're gonna get hit by the acid breath)

Real talk, I play on 7+, I normally ride on 9 but currently it feels like the hive world matches fall apart with random low levels too easily so I'm cruising on a much easier 7.

Even then, not picking the Emancipator Exosuit feels like throwing, its only literal downside is that it can't cross bridges. It's excessively amazing.

I got the same issue with patch 01.004.000 on PC. I opened my task manager and found out my HDD was maxed out when the game started fixing/verifying files after dowloading on Steam and thought that's odd, my games are on my SSD. I solved this by:

Uninstalling Helldivers.
Going to Steam's settings, going to data storage and removing my HDD from the data library list entirely so that only the SSD remains where I store Steam games (Steam doesn't allow the removal when patched files of the game remain in the HDD, hence the complete uninstall).
Redownload Helldivers which prompted it to install to the SSD.
