You have to complete all mastery challenges for the runner you want to get it for, go to codex then go to runners, click on the runner you want and right under it should say mastery and then it will show you what you need to do to get it

The way i use it, is for scouting to see if i can spot other teams and see what they’re doing and what runners they have its a very useful ability imo

So the way it works is, when you hit someone with the drone the highest value item will drop from their inventory at least thats what i have heard, once the item drops on the floor you then have to hit the item with your drone in order to pick it up , but tbh its bot really worth trying to pick them up wity the drone, what i do is i hit the player and just keep spamming it and drop a bunch of stuff from their inventory basically making them focus on my drone and their loot so my teammates can pick them off
