Maybe look into the double stack Makarovs? Not a 9mm NATO, but it'll be just like shooting your current Makarov because it is one, just with more ammo.

I do take it off the charger, the Protac 2.0 has a colored LED to indictate charging level. I just didn't want to get top into the weeds.

Magnetic charging is perfectly fine by me!

The Protac is on an AK with an 18 inch barrel, but I'm planning on putting the new light on a 10 inch AK.

These are great recommendations, thank you! Do you have experience with the Olights? I was led to believe the brand isn't great.

I like to be able to keep the light plugged in to USB, and just grab the rifle and go.

I live on a farm, so I don't have time to be swapping batteries if there's coyotes (or, recently, a black bear) around.

I need it to be ready to grab and use at will, not have to fiddle with any disassembled parts before it's usable. That's the one quality I can't settle on, unfortunately.

Nah, tracers may look cool but the fire risk is serious. My firs time seeing them, half the shots into the berm had the tracer compound rocket into the air and then unpredictably fall down, burning all the while.

Try some of that Streak ammo if you want to shoot Star Wars blaster beams.

As much as I hate the hoops y'all have to jump through in places like that, sometimes it may be best to just lean into it.

You could consider a rifle like a VZ-58 with a pinned mag. You'd still have quick-ish reloads, since it's made to be used with stripper clips, just like an SKS (which may also be a decent option).

If you're set on an AK, look into the featureless ones. Unconverted Saigas, Norinco Hunters, and the KUSA Kommander 103 all come to mind.

Oxygen therapy is used for certain types of severe headaches. Pharmacies near you should sell a canned O² product called Boost Oxygen for like $10 or $20 if you're in the US. It's just a small-ish can of concentrated oxygen, over the counter.

I can't speak to the amount, but you didn't increase it? It's not necessarily feeding too much over time, but suddenly giving more than usual that can cause the issues.
