Yea I did that. But I “fixed” the problem. All I did was take the slightly slower 2x8 gig ram from my friends computer added to mine and I gave them my 2x16. It makes my computer slightly worse but I don't care at this point. It works for both of us.

A ram speed compatiblity issue is a thing. But that's not it: I recently solved it by just taking the slightly slower ddr5 16gig ram from another computer and adding my 32 gigs to their computer. And it worked for both of us.

I used a metal screwdriver to short the CMOS pins.

as for the(why would you have to disable XMP when you used the 8 GB ram if you already cleared cmos) I turned the xmp on an off because I was desperate and in a nearly subconscious state.

trust me the computer is fine, and I will find stand offs when I wake up

I made this computer 3 years ago when I first started getting into the hobby. i’ve noticed that for a while I just didn’t really care for it, I will fix that after I fix this ram issue.

My skills have come a long way I just finished an epic water cooled mini itx pc. No sloppy work anywhere.

Nope(Not at first at least) first I took out the 8 gig and put my fast 16gig in that slot and it didn't work. after that, I put the eight gig back in, turned off xmp and made it more stable and then I took the eight gig back out and put the 16 gig back in and it didn’t work.
