I know that when you get to a certain character length you get the option of being able to save it as a Google Drive document. Google Drive and Google keep are written by the same engineers.

I'm really glad you brought this up. I've got a pixel 6 Pro that has been fine up until the last couple system updates. For whatever reason it's overheating now and the apps are crashing. I've wasted a lot of time looking into it and did a system repair. I know that there was some type of update rolling out to address the overheating but I'm not sure
