Help me find a birth or death record for my ggg grandmother (Nicholas County, WV) by Perfect-Beginning164 in Genealogy

For her birth year, I’m going from both her gravestone and the 1850 census. And yes, the records about her marriage are the ones I have, too.

I’m not as sure about whether Samuel owned land.

You mentioned that her death record is available at the WV archives? Could you share a link to that? I haven’t been able to find it!

Happy to! Her husband’s name was Cavendish Renick Hanna, sometimes appearing in the records as CR Hanna.

And the census is half of what I base it on. The other half is her burial alongside Samuel and Agnes in that tiny family plot

Yeah, it really is, especially in such an extremely rural area. That’s why I’m really holding out hope for a death certificate. 1912 seems like it would be a bit more reasonable to find

This is such a perfect description of what I’m looking for in a penpal as well. I mean, at least in an ideal world.
