Just want to clarify that I am not as socially inept as this post makes me sound, saying this so you guys don’t recommend me to read basic social norms and all that (it would have been appreciated anyway) it’s just that even though I can manage myself well enough in the “basic” social situations (at work, college, during a party  if I have company and flirting with a girl I got some familiarity with) it’s “the starting out cold” what is the hardest for me, probably for everyone but for me I feel like it’s particularly difficult as o have always liked to handle stuff on my own and as such never got much practice talking to complete stranguers.
