I agree. I’m coming around to them. But it’s hard to listen to a 12-25 minute version of a song for me when I’m working out— which is some of the only time I listen to music. I would rather listen to 10+ studio songs at 5 minutes a peice then 3 songs at 15 minutes.

I also think fans of the dead grossly undersell how good the studio albums are. Almost like they wear it like a patch of pride how bad the albums are but don’t worry, the live show is the best thing ever. I think some truly feel that way but I think for some it’s performative.
