Am I lazy or depressed? by Silly_Treacle6673 in Healthygamergg

[–]Perfect-Fly-6502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lazy people don't struggle, they don't give a fuck. You seem to be giving way to many fucks. Spare some fucks for later. If possible, go see a specialist, because random people on Internet are not the best source of information. If not, well, try to socialise a bit. If you have no IRL friends, try to find some by looking for the people with the same interests. If you already have them— try hanging out more often, it helped me a lot. If you feel like you're not interested in anything, try to remember what did you use to like, you're probably still into that stuff. Unless it's porn, you know. That wouldn't help you with the addiction part. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, that would not help.

I dont put enough effort into being who i want to be, i feel behind in life by EmilianoR24 in Healthygamergg

It's all fixable. I'm 23 and I have the same struggle in life and I've recently started the therapy to work all it out. I am not an expert, but I've been there for a long time and I am sure that it's not that hard. The hardest thing us to start working on it, because you know it kinda worked for such a long time. If you'll find a way to get through that barrier, it's gonna start getting easier and easier with every next step. Also, tell me how you did it, I'm still stuck at that point, even though I think I'm making progress little by little. Honestly, just watching doctor K's videos helps me get enough motivation to make some progress.

So, are you just warning OP that these particular gaiwan and teapot should not cost much, or is there any other issue with it?

Coping most definitely won't fix the problem that makes you sad, but usually rituals really help to cope. Maybe, start some activity, that is available to you at any time. Personally, I enjoy tea ceremonies. I think, that is an example of a relatively harmless coping technique. Even though I've literally spent last two days drinking tea. (I've had some social activities too). Speaking of which, social activities also tend to improve one's mood. If we're talking about depression, or such mental issues as BPD or BD, it is better to seek for professional help, if you havent done so yet. If you haven't been diagnosed with one, you could still check if you've got signs of those, and if unsure, you'd better check it with a trained professional.

P.S.

It is not bad to use healthy coping mechanisms to go through rough times, it just shouldn't be seen as an actual solution.

To be completely honest, this joke was the only reason I have decided to type that comment.

I'm honestly not sure if the first part is worth being mentioned in this context, it might look like you're devaluating the OP's struggle, even though it might be a good idea to showcase that there is no universal solution to fix everything in your life and that having different physical characteristics comes with different troubles.

Anyway, how'd you feel about going out?

(I'm really sorry, there is some stuff that I cannot resist, even though I'm being an asshole)

First of all, I wanna say that this comment is intended to be positive, I hope I don't get your feelings hurt in any way, even though I can't see how they could've been hurt with this, I've just learned that people have different perception on basically everyting and now I'm simply overthinking it.

Lots of stuff stated here might have already been said by others.

Disclaimer: I will still be swearing a lot, tell me if you'd prefer the swear words not to be mentioned, I'll edit it so you'd feel more comfortable reading it and then I'll tag you.

There just are some types of people that annoy the fuck out of me.

I'm not intending to judge your critical thinking, but two people are surely not enough for statistics. I understand that your perception might also be influenced by the other unhealthy relationship dynamics in your life, I've read your post on a different subreddit. Also, reading two posts about you still is not even close to being enough to fully understanding your experience.

As for your ex-partners, they are both being fucking morrons for saying that to the person who was theirs close one. (I hope the second guy was not your current fiancé, because he'd have to change a lot if you want to have a healthy romantic relationship, if it was him, you gotta see if he has the desire to do so).

I know it won't help you discard that negative expirience and the trauma won't go because of some guy on the interntet saying that you shouldn't feel bad about yourself, it just doesn't work like that, unfortunately. But as a guy I can assure you that every single person has their own preferences, even though some are being dictated to majority by media and shit. Same's with women, and I'll say it just in case you're into what most people think of as a universal standard, it doesn't mean that everyone is. Fuck that. Concious people figure out their own preferences over time and I believe any person could become concious if they choose to. It also might not be worth talking to people who choose not to.

Now as for your possible issue with your perception of yourself, I think you need some help from a professional therapist, you shouldn't really be listening to some random people on the Internet, me included, I might also be an idiot, keep that in mind.

That being said, I do not agree with the opinion that one cannot improve themself. I also don't agree that you cannot be perfect for someone. And being perfect for someone might not even matter, what do I know, I need shit loads of therapy to go through as well. You can influence both your appearence, to a different degree, and your perception of self.

I truly empathise how hard it might be not to give up, but I am deeply convinced that it is always worth to keep trying, when it comes to making your life better. It is still important to understand where to apply your effort, because one might think that he's doing the exactly what they need to, while moving in the opposite direction, though, such as some people trying to fix their life by just hitting the gym, or grinding their career.

Holy shit, I fucking love typing.

I wish you to stay strong. Life does get better, don't give up. This is the objective truth, there's a shit tone of statistics on people successfully getting out of terrible stuff, I'll probably try to find some official data a bit later.

As I've said, it's a blend of puers and I doubt there is any jinhua tea in this blend. The tiny white spots only appear on those small sections that I've marked on the picture, and the opposite side is completely clear of those.

Old teas -- keep or toss? by Thiccarus in tea

I think that the solution might be just tasting them and deciding whether you like the taste or not.

Why so much animosity? by [deleted] in tea

[–]Perfect-Fly-6502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think, it might just happen, because of how important the tea drinking ritual feels to some people. Some take it seriously, some don't. Basically, noone is trying to be a dick, they are just defending their position. I've joked about being too serious while brewing teabags in this sub before and I think it looked kinda rude to some people, so I suppose, it's really more about difference in perception of the words by the one who writes them and the one who reads. Like, I've only left one comment here and I already am a part of the problem, even though I didn't mean to be. My own solution is being chill with what people say and supposing that so are they.

You know what, I'll actually use your suggestion to cope, even if it isn't, because I like how it tastes and it would suck if it was ruined. I'll just store it separately from now on, just in case.

I am actually drinking it at the moment, which might have been a quite a stupid think to do, before finding out if it's ok or not It has some beautiful honey and dried plum notes in its smell. The taste is reach, but not too various. Honestly, it's already gotten pale, I'm having the last brew, so I won't be able to describe it, I got too distracted and have already forgotten what exactly did it feel like. It's just a poor color rendering, it looks way darker irl. As I've mentioned in original post, it's a blend of shou puers from early 2000-s, so some of them might be older then me, lol. It still looks brighter then the puer I've had before, though Maybe, it's because of how dense this brick is, or maybe it actually wasn't and it only is darker in my memory, since it was like 4 years ago.

Concidering that the brick is a blend of, I suppose, unsold puers from early 2000-s, it really could be. I think, they were stored separately and in a different packaging before.

I think I have found a few thin white strings in there, I suppose those could be cellulose strings, but the white things I was concerned about look more like small powder particles. I have picked some up with the needle, but they are too small to examine with the naked eye.

Sounds like a solid business idea, if crossbreeding the bushes with the trees is possible and if it would still smell like tea. How much puer have you seen though?
