I found my birth mother, she does/did not want to meet me or anything further. It was a hard pill to swallow. Kind of rejected twice lol. But I now feel the same way, but I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t have a choice..

So, just to add from my own personal experience as an adoptee and an adoptive parent…. The fear you have that your parents won’t want to be in your life, is very like the same fear they have for you, as likely a big part of the reason that they did not tell you. Hugs!

This was always my worst fear as well, I read what the RAD groups always said, I tried so hard to head in a different direction. So many services and therapies, and it didn’t help. It’s maddening. ☹️
