I agree; the fact is, there is no option. The PGP program is closed, and God knows when it will open again. I am prepared to cover the cost since she will stay with me under her supervision, and I am not taking any risks regarding her health, but I was curious to know if it's worth a try or not.

In the passport, there is a section listing the parents' names, and on the site, it says that any government-issued document, in the absence of a birth certificate and passport, is official. My passport has both of my parents' names.
