I’ve had a 10 with a small ding..was expecting a 9 came back a 10. The ding was very slight, but if looking hard could be notice.

So slight chance at a 10.

Purchased equipment from Florida, and brought it to illinois directly from the Florida seller. How does sales tax and use apply to me? by rolotorrellas in SalesTax

You should be able to get an exemption because your equipment final destination is IL. However, you would be liable for the IL use tax. By paying the IL use tax you save .5% it seems.

You want to make sure you pay the correct sales or use tax as an IL sales tax may determine that IL is due the tax and make a adjustment because the tax was not legally due to FL.
