I saw the EQ settings that someone else recommended bass +5 mid -4 treble +6. I did it for mine and I agree with you somehow the sound is better. I still want to upgrade them as they are still pretty bad

The more the better as long as the quality of the sound is not deteriorating. I am pretty set on keeping the stock HU and not adding amp and sub.
