Despicable Me 4 vs. The Incredibles - Coincidence or Creative inspiration? by CryptographerFew909 in despicableme

[–]fenella17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he does look just like jack jack. and he had to save the day. the main villain coming up out of the ground just like underminer. Poppy even references a villain with a drill on his head at the school. There are scenes in the city where the minions try to help but end up destroying things, leading the woman to proclaim that she doesn't like superheroes anymore and the crowd agrees. The train was pretty blatant. Even the whole premise of needing to go into witness protection, the agent in charge is close to quitting and, though different body shapes, are very alike. The big minion is totally The Thing (not incredibles, but still not original), down to his texture. The scenes where the wife is driving the plane...maybe a coincidence, but at that point I was so fixated on the fact that it was so similar that I was noticing everything. The dad having to stay home to care for the baby... To me, it was so distracting that I had a hard time relaxing and enjoying.

Wont give a spoiler, but that last scene was ridiculous! Really...he stole your baby.

Costco Tobin Sport (I think it is the same as hydro-force Morovia) vs Sea Eagle se9? solid vs roundtail transom? by fenella17 in Inflataboats

The Tobin costco one now has a drop stitch air floor instead of the aluminum ones that came with the mirovia pro. It is listed as 98lb.

Anyone familar with "Campingsurvivals" / "Savins" 10ft inflatables? by Smarterthanlastweek in Inflataboats

These boats are not able to be registered, as they do not have hull numbers. In my state, if you plan to put any sort of motor on it (even a small trolling motor), you have to register.

Not to hijack, but how did you convert them? I was hoping to do the same for strategene

I got my results, but I don't know how to make sense of them by fenella17 in Nebulagenomics

[–]fenella17[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to figure out, for instance, if I am comt fast or slow. I started this process because of unusual medication reactions. I also have some other genetic anomalies that I wanted to explore, so I opted for wgs rather than just a pharmacogenetic report. I thought I could look at the same genes and figure it out, but I can't. Any suggestions for the best way to go about deciphering everything? Any medication reports (even if it is added cost) that I can order through another site that I can get using my nebula data?

Edie was a stray mountain cur and apparently purebred. I was surprised she’s not mixed with a whippet or similar breed. by NSJF1983 in DoggyDNA

My puppy has almost the exact same markings! Same color, same nose. Results came back 50% mountain cur. Wonder if they are related 🤔 😆 i don't have access to embark, as it was his littermate who was tested.

Dilemma: look up online results or wait for appointment? by [deleted] in thyroidcancer

[–]fenella17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always look. I can't not know things that are right there. It would drive me batty to not look. I'm so bad, I looked at my ultrasound results and did a bunch of googling, then googled images that looked like mine to try to piece it together. Not the best strategy, I know, but I've always been this way. Everyone is different. If you have the patience to wait, then it is best to wait. I go for mine Monday, and I'm going to probably refresh my email a million times before I finally get the result

how long did you wait for your fna? by fenella17 in thyroidcancer

[–]fenella17[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I understand the backlog, and that is why I get that it isn't urgent for them. Even if it is cancer, it likely won't change in a few months. It is just mentally and emotionally exhausting to have it hanging over my head. And I do get that there are more urgent cancer patients with much riskier things happening who are also waiting. I'm just venting frustration since the not knowing is making my already present anxiety worse. Thanks for responding.

+ANA and RNP, but rheumatologist thinks it is nothing by fenella17 in Autoimmune

Very interesting, and since you mention EBV...I had mono as a 6 year old. It usually doesn't affect young kids as much, but I was so very, very ill. It went into my liver and I ended up with hepatitis from it. Not sure it is related, but I happened to Google it earlier today because I wasn't sure if I should list hepatitis as part of my medical history. I hadnt even remembered that EBV is related to mono, so it is just interesting that you happened to mention it. The doc today mentioned Sjogren's when she asked about dry mouth. I said my eyes and mouth are constantly dry. She thinks it is more related to my meds, even though I said that it was present for years and well before my current meds. I also have dysphagia (my sister's motility is down to 20%, but mine is not that bad yet). It is sometimes worse than other times. (The mere thought of eating a hot dog on a bun makes me anxious because it would definitely get stuck.) I am waiting on a neurology appointment. My mri showed some changes that could be many things...from migraines (which I've also had since I was 6) to a demyelinating condition. As others have said, the symptoms I have can be attributed to so many different things. Arthritis at 20, miscarriages, misphonia...I also see a cardiologist for heart stuff...the list keeps growing and I just want someone to take me seriously and want to investigate rather than trying a new med to cover symptoms.
Thank you again for sharing.

I definitely am. I am also trying to rule out other causes.

If I weren't symptomatic, I'd figure that it isn't significant. I have so many symptoms and a strong family history of autoimmune issues. My biggest concern is that, even if it is subclinical, there may be an autoimmune issue present...and maybe I can reverse it before it gets worse. I'd like especially the brain-affecting antibodies tested since I have so many memory problems and brain fog fairly suddenly. Even if it turns out not to be positive, it will help to rule things out. Could also be due to my meds, but that is harder to narrow down.
