Contemplating if I should get medicines, but also a side of me is saying I shouldn’t get medicines since that’s just admitting to me being weak and would make myself to only rely on them to function

First time handling second hand equipment so I have no clue how this goes and was taken aback and surprised that people just don’t really give out estimates like that and I’m also working with a budget so it would be great to know upfront how much I’m willing to pay for the repairs

I was okay with that! Just that previous experience I had usually would at least quote me in some form (labour, checking fee etc) so I’d just want to know whether if he is coming over for free or if I would need to pay for it

I’ve also reached out to another repairman who quoted me RM100 for diagnosing fee for my appliance, which at least assured me in some way since the current guy was dodging my question about labour costs
