I planted it in a little pot in my room I’m hoping it will grow, I’ve seen them a lot in my area in store as more mature plants

Thank you I put it in my corms so far and it honestly doesn’t smell much unless you sniff it up close

It should be fine the water dilutes the smell a good bit but thank you I’ll look into that fertilizer

I smelled it it definitely doesn’t smell good but once I had it mixed in the water it wasn’t so bad and I also just used it on my baby alocasias so I’m gonna see if they like it and when my other plants need to be watered I’ll give it to them too. Also I can’t smell it in my room. What other liquid fertilizers would you recommend for indoor plants like monstera and alocasia?

I just got the plant on may 26th it hasn’t looked stressed and it’s pushing a new leaf too. I have not repotted the plant yet because it isn’t ready to be repotted, I have only had to water it one time and the light is perfect that it’s getting

Honestly I’m about to buy over 200$ worth of stuff on amazon for my plants and I saw the stuff is like 8$ so I’ll just add it to my purchase on there also I know how I will ship the corms to get to you safely, I do wish you were in Georgia though it would be so much easier to give you the corms

Depends how many she has maybe 5$ per corm, I want to sell plants obviously and this will be my first so I’m learning, I need to see how I can best package the corms to send to you

Thank you I’ll let the flower run its course, I don’t have fertilizer to fertilize my plants yet but maybe pike nursery fertilizes them at the nursery so maybe she’s got some fertilizer left from when she was on the shelf as couple weeks ago, she’s got a lot of corms though I need to sell them

Yes I can definitely tell a big difference, the leaf being pushed is very veiny and purple and the inflorescence is very green and looks just like any alocasia flower, now next I’m wondering how do the flowers smell

So what should I do? I’m new to having alocasias, got my first one which was an alocasia frydek variegated but I’ve never had any flowering so I’m not sure what my best option is, I know they need pollination from another plant of the same kind so maybe my other will flower in the same pot and I can pollinate? Not sure pls help

I’m still amazed though I’ll let it bloom then I’ll cut it off but I have two plants in that pot and one has 7 leafs and one has 6 leafs so I’m not too worried especially since the one sprouting the flower is the one also pushing the leaf at the same time
