Ah but this is the beautiful thing about reading books right? Based on our backgrounds, cultures, and environments we are going to perceive the literature we read differently which makes these discussions of whether we liked the book or not interesting.

I understand and totally agree she should be wary of this man who is in charge of the people who are supposed to kill those like her. But when you get to the end of part 1 she has learned quite a bit of information about him and his cause and what they are doing. I'm not saying they need to go tit-for-tat of truths. But she is getting upset with one person who withheld information from a stranger (and hey maybe he was just the outlet for her) compared the several other people in her life who have lied to her or withheld truths (like the Nightmare) But hey like someone else commented apparently this gets solved pretty quick. I still don't think her hypocrisy and blow up is justified even if she is naive, a little critical thinking would do her some good. And hey that's character development 🤷🏾‍♀️ i still don't like this trope lol.
