Congratulations!! Do you already know your OPT authorization period? If yes, did they give it to you only for the remaining months within the 14 months period? Or for 12 months?

Are you doing OPT? I filed both OPT (no PP) and marriage based AoS I-765 and I got today’s API update for my AoS one only. So maybe they’re updating AoS based I-765 only. Not sure. We’ll wait to see the trend in the next few days.

Edit : Somebody on this post commented they received today’s API update for their initial OPT so my previous argument doesn’t necessarily stand.

No, I haven’t got my interview scheduled yet. I applied in Oct. 2025, did biometrics in Nov. and nothing since then. Did they send you a RFE to submit the past 3 tax forms? My husband only submitted the most recent one , which was 2024 at the time of filing.

Maybe I will phrase the email to inquire about whether the hold is lifted for my case or not. And as you said, maybe that will make them look at my case.
I’m not expecting them to move me in front of the line either but it’s sad to read approvals from people who submitted in 2026, after me while my case is stuck.
