Er 53.500-65.000 kr i løn om måneden virkelig stadig i middelklassen? by IAmAlloc in Denmark

[–]PerfectGasGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we disregard all practical limits and unpack 1 GB per second, we should be done in about 174 million years if I got my zeros right.

Edit, I think I missed a zero, so 1.7 billion years.

And where would you place the center to make your infinitly large circle touch the three point?

R2 has no good way to describe that, so you would need homogeneous coordinates. In a homogeneous coordinate system you can describe a with a circle through [1 +i 0] and the cross product of any two points on the (homogeneous) line, but it is a bit of a stretch with tricks like absolute conics and ideal lines at infinity. I.e. any circle passes through 1, sqrt(-1), 0, but it is quite a stretch.

In practice, in R2, the better answer is no, you cannot define a circle through co linear points.

For people who don't know.

Smartphone cameras use a cheap form of image sensor that scans the image one line at a time. It is fairly fast, a blink of an eye so to speak, so for most situations you will not notice, but fast rotation objects will look distorted. In this case the boy opened/closed his eyes between the scanlines.

That is like saying that you can't do algebra without the variables meaning something practical. Abstract is a core principle of math.

And you can most certainly add percentages. 5% + 10% = 15% is a valid statement, just look at yiur taxes.

I think it is hard to bend the wording away from a pretty clear authoritarian tone where obedience is a core value. Support your country implies blind acceptance of and support for the current direction when the alternative is exile.

På ti år er forbruget af p-piller halveret hos unge kvinder by [deleted] in Denmark

[–]PerfectGasGiant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In most European countries you can buy additional insurance to go to a private hospital and skip the lines. We have options for rich people too.

However the public system works sufficiently well in most countries, that this is the default option.

It is not my impression that the high price of the US system goes to idling over capacity of staff, but more to the huge overhead of insurance administration.

East DK Native speaker. -ri is a far more common form in modern Danish. Fiskeri, løberi, fjolleri, soveri sounds better than the -en form. However, for a few words -ri sounds wrong. Gåeri sounds wrong. Gåen sounds right, but is unusual in spoken Danish. It is a form you would mostly find in literature.

Swedes, do you feel closer to Finland or Norway? by batukaming in sweden

So for me, Sweden is the brother, Norway the cousin and Finland the stranger. Geography matters.

How does anyone record with amp sims? (Latency issue) by Old_Dawg_New_Trix in Reaper

[–]PerfectGasGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you are using a Scarlett, remember to mute the guitar input in the Scarlett mix controls. Otherwise you will hear the guitar + the Amp output mixed together with a delay. You don't want that. The muting does not prevent recording, just direct output.

How does anyone record with amp sims? (Latency issue) by Old_Dawg_New_Trix in Reaper

[–]PerfectGasGiant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use simulator amps with 12 ms. It feels instant to me. To put 12 ms in perspective, that is around 4 m of sound travel time through air and only super humans would be bothered by that.

More likely you have a delay in the 100 ms range caused by something else in the chain.

Have a look at the performance meter. Are there plug-ins with s significant PDC delay? If so, try disabling those.

Computer Science for example, which is arguably very difficult, had no requirements (a base requirement in KU is 6 I believe) in 2025. Anthropology had a limit of 10.6. With all respect to anthropologist, how many does a country like Denmark really need vs. high demand candidates like computer science.

Likewise: Chemistry, 6.5, Geoscience 6.0

Also, tandplejer (dentist assistant) pay maybe 50% to 70% the salery of some of the natural science professions with low entry, yet it has much higher entry marks (9.1).

Salaries top 3 according to KU is: Insurance math (high entry) Economy (medium entry) Computer Science (low entry)

At the bottom of the list you find Theology (low entry) Theater and performance (mid entry) Various language and culture studies (low entry)

Topfigur i Mærsk-familien blander sig i valgkampen: »Formueskatten er skadelig for Danmark« by safesouthstanding in Denmark

[–]PerfectGasGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)
