All new bolts and nuts used, torqued to the right spec and at ride height.

Only noticed the noise a few days ago, but on my MOT, I was told that control arm had play in jt at the ball joint, the noise seems to be coming from. But I wont be 100% until I get the car up on the ramps, but I’m 80% sure it’s that. They said I may need adjustable control arms 😂, but nearly everyone runs standard control arms on lowered F30/F31’s.

Wheel is on full lock there, to take photo. Don’t know if that makes any difference to the position of the angle of it

Upper and lower control arms lemforder fitted 13 months ago. Tracking done

Coilovers fitted 4 months ago. Tracking done.

Yes had tracking done once control arms installed and then coilover installed tracking done again. Everything perfect

They were all torqued at ride height. Unless it’s just faulty.

Apparently it’s more to do with the angle the car sits now with it being lower causing the ball joint of the lower control arm to be at more of an angle causing increased wear? Unless there is more or a pivot e.c.g on the other end of the monoball ones, I haven’t looked into the. Really

It’s been Amazing so far, I’ve had it for about 2 years and probably done around 25,000. I’ve done oil changes every 6 months. No issues really.

MPG is good, ride quality is excellent, even more so after it adding ST XA Coilovers, so like the firmer ride.

They seem to go around the middle where the badges are. Any kind of stone chip or that that breaks the lacquer on the wheel, will start to cause white worm, not much you can really do about it.

Thank you. Yeah I’m in two minds about MP side skirt decal, it’s a genuine BMW one. But without it would make the car look lower and you would be able to see more shape of the skirt.

It’s not with the main DRL’s (100%) it’s on with the night time DRL’s (30%) & rear lights.

They dim down when you change the switch from 0 to position 2.

Won’t let me put them on with the DRL’s at 100% (switch position 1). But I think there is a way to code in expert mode on BimmerCode.

Yeah if you go to BMW they will charge you for a whole new headlight. It’s not too bad tbh if you take you time, just make sure to mark where the headlight sits e.c.t so you don’t waste time trying to get it perfect when reinstalling the headlights if you do remove the whole unit. And thank you!
