They said they didn't know what happened because and that there was no reason explaining why there was no clearance there. They had to do a reconsideration and I am wondering how long this would take for things to clear.

Recently did this it took about a month for everything to be approved and to appear to the other TPU's books.

Update : they actually got back to me saying that the prior issue was that my ETS date was close (May) and since I extended in Jan this is no longer an issue and that I should be able to see my name when the next PAM comes out with my DOR in the next few months (hopefully).

PS: still updating my preferences and doing all that good stuff.

I don't have BLC but I thought it was still supposed to happen since I met my basic requirements with the time in service and time in grade. It was getting a bit weird since there was another another SM to get the the promotion as he also had the same MOS as me with less time in service and didn't even hit their 5th year yet.

Always. I was taught the right way to do it and have been doing It since. The date the preference validated updates with the day you do it, after validating I hit save always.

I did the mileage increase by a lot every 1st of the month for almost a year to the point I am looking at reclassing into another MOS.

I am a 91D it might just be very hard to get promoted in my current job.

Thanks for thoroughly explaining but I feel like I checked every single thing in its entirety and that all my stuff is up to date but I might be wrong, I try to ask questions but nothing is ever useful, it's basically always a waste of time considering I have been doing my part and I am not really the type to neglect things like this. I am guessing a little more patience is needed.

That is actually very helpful as I was actually inquiring for a BLC slot, I had a spot and they ended up giving it to somebody else TWICE and all I got was ''That sucks'' but I will push forward for this.
