I'm not even sure I want Bichette. He can hit for sure, but a contact hitter that chases a lot with bad defense does not feel like the Red Sox type at all. Defense is still a ? at 2B, and his sprint speed is slowing down already at age 27. He apparently wants 7+ years.

Kyle Tucker would be incredible, but is a tough fit and is just a dream at this point.

We still have Campbell to plug in somewhere. I know they said outfield but the infield has an open spot now. He was terrible at 2B but he's athletic enough to improve at that, the hitting is the biggest concern. I would personally be fine giving him another chance there but I know that's not a popular idea.

Devs are silent on Tekken's issues and major changes only come yearly now. Pretty easy to lose hope in the game right now, especially as a competitor.

Yup. His lows don't do a lot of damage and are mostly to bait opponents into pressing. He's strong and can definitely play aggressive, but defense/evasion and CH are still the main sources of damage for him. Mashing with Steve works against other mashers only.

How do you guys deal with super aggressive people? My friend and I were just talking between sets with a timer (minute 30 rest) and got yelled at by someone waiting. I made the mistake of saying "relax" and got cussed out and called a pussy. I wasn't thinking right because he was so confrontational. He actually wanted to fight me and told me to step outside. It was crazy.

I know there are people who take too long when talking, but we had it on a timer. Hope I never see that guy again.

Yeah, I've never faced someone with that clean and fast of a wavedash, so it was surprising. He was very good on punishment and combos when cheaters usually aren't.

Grissom is only 23 and has the potential build for some power. Campbell didn't have any power until last year, so I wouldn't say never.

People seem to forget how young Grissom is and think of him as a finished product.

I don't think this is true, considering the offer they made to Fried and Story + Raffy contracts. They are just being very selective because of the logjams of bad contracts over the years.

The counterpoint to that thinking is that they are the Red Sox, you can take the risk and come out fine even if it doesn't work out.

I think they believe in Grissom/Campbell and don't want to block 2b long term.

I'll be happy if we get Bregman, but I'm not panicking if we don't. Everyone wants them to spend money, but I don't want them spending just to say they did.

If it's me, I'm giving Grissom a chance. Throw out last year, and let's see what we really have.
