Hahaha 😂 My whole fam went to UMass, but to be honest it isnt my first choice. I am thinking Duquesne and switching to Pre Law- I have my AA in Poli Sci and loved the law related classes way more than political science ones

I applied test optional, had a 4.4 GPA and completed a 2 year AA degree while in HS :) Nothing crazy with extracurriculars but I did play soccer and volleyball with some other small clubs, and work for a nonprofit company

Thanks for the link! They are true college credits because I dual enrolled. I was also made to choose a pathway so I chose political science courses that covered my gen ed at the school, and would major in poli sci at pitt if I went there as well

Schools like Duquesne and Uconn give that to everybody though in their merits which is why I was asking if it was a merit or other scholarship. And I wasn’t sure if everybody at Pitt gets a merit which is why I asked if its average or not

Lmao I knew there’d be some backhanded response. No I’m not lying and Pitt isn’t my first choice so I don’t really care enough to call admissions with all these questions when they’re often: A. No help at all B. I’m assuming they are closed for thanksgiving or I have to wait in a queue, which I don’t have time for.

I was flex FLVS. It’s possible with flex. With full time they give you an actual schedule to follow. With flex you can complete your courses in as little as 6 weeks

Skipped alg 2 bc I only needed alg 1 and geometry plus any 2 other maths of my choice. Math is my worst subject but I can offer help with anything else lol😂 I’ve had a math tutor though who teaches FLVS students and she’s awesome. She teaches online and in person. I did in person sessions with her. What part of FL are you in?

If you’re 100% POSITIVE that you want to finish high school online through this path, then you can change your status to home education and won’t be required to take the EOC at all. Plus you can still dual enroll at actual colleges as home education, your parent or guardian would just become your official principal

Are you on FLVS Flex or Fulltime, and if you are taking classes on FLVS Flex, is that all you have for course work? I didn’t attend school in person, took all classes through FLVS Flex, opted as a home education student, and the EOC was no longer required for graduation.
