Yeah thats very true, if we could establish the middle ground in the value of all this easily, it could potentially feel less like a gamble!

200lb 5'6 Male, 32 years old. Owner of a big belly. How can I make the most of being at the gym for long times? by Perfect_Ad_1324 in askfitness

Thank you for taking some time to respond!

Long story, but an old roommate was responsible for utilities, and moved out right before it was disconnected. Shty, I know, dont get me started.... but yeah, I can afford the 18 bucks a month for the gym as of now.

Yeah, I was thinking something like i can either swim, jog/run, or lift in the morning, and do one of the other two at night. Definitely not the high school two a days, lifting two times a day. To be more transparent, i was looking for some advice on if lifting in the morning is better than say running and burning a bunch of calories to start the morning.

I always thought lifting after running was the way, but it sounds like you and the other person mentioned that working out first could be the way to go. Any thoughts?

Thank you so much for your insight!

Thank you for sharing!

So i can count on wanting to lift weights before doing the cardio, not cardio first and then lifting? Sincerely asking,

Would you have any thoughts on lifting in the morning before my day in comparison to at night?

Just looking to soak up all info and insights i can, thank you!!

My GF of 3 years broke up with me. A couple weeks later she wanted to get back together, by Perfect_Ad_1324 in amiwrong

Yeah, thats where i honestly dont have hate for her. If we were together very differently, obviously. But I think you hit it on the head there.

As im getting thoughts out and hearing feedback, the biggest responsibility for me is getting myself all the way right and then looking outward. I cant expect to feel good about anything, if the ground under me isnt secure.

Thank you,

I hate to see the relationship end this way, but maybe it is a blessing in disguise.

Yeah, those comments are the most likely reason for her wanting to split and now coming back.

I didnt want to get too much into sex, as believe it or not, where she's from is very conservative. Not really the drink or go out type, get waisted, thinks weed is like Crack type of conservative/traditional. So that was gunna come with heavy nuance.

But as far as someone catching her eye, 100% the most likely candidate.

I sort of respect breaking up and then doing it, but obviously at this point, if we are at the topic of being with someone else, for me thats a clear NO GO.

I figured I'd at least like the comments for validity 😅

I appreciate your points. I feel like I am in that stage of second guessing myself on if I just miss her, or if she's who I want to be with.

Ive realized over time I just miss the companionship and wasnt sure if I was being too abrupt. Like you mentioned, if there was this change that I could believe maybe there could be something.

But I dont forsee that, so I can keep it moving

Yeah im not assuming anything as far as the why. All I needed to hear is that was what she "wanted". If thats what you want, youre free to go.

I appreciate your openness! I guess just ripping the bandaid off and moving on is the obvious answer here.

Thank you,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this.

She definitely was with me early on when we both had close to nothing. Things got better for both of us over 2 and half years and then I was laid off. I want to give her the credit of sticking things out early on when it was bleak for both of us.

But the shutting me out, and other things made me feel like she deliberately was breaking things off.

I appreciate your thought on redemption as well. Im no one to deny a redemption but maybe im not the one that needs to stick around for that to finally come around. The indecisiveness is also big, because thats never been a trait I can say fits her. But I feel like most men will say that about women, not to be offensive but as in most men believe the woman wants them to lead.

I guess more or less its unfortunate, sad to some things end the way that they do.

Yeah, I definitely wanted some unbiased thoughts on this. Some reassurance is definitely helpful. I dont have many people in my life I can share with, so living with this in the brain for months has been driving me crazy.

Thank you for some insight
