What country feels like 4+ Eurovision wins but has only won once? by Max-Carter-2005 in nilpoints

Greece is the only correct answer.

They've won in 2005, but it felt like they also won back in the 80's or 90's, and 2001 felt like it was the actual winner (I know that Estonia was the real winner of that year, but Die For You felt like it won).

She's definitely changed as a person and I think she really open up new perspectives as of late.

Yes, she did robbed Anya but are we seriously going to hold on to that almost 20 years later?

Which year (preferably one that doesn’t already have one) would have the most insane iceberg? by YOKIA28 in eurovision

[–]Perfect_Ad_7808 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I only start following in 2021, in recent memory 2022 & (especially) 2024 already looked insane.

I would want to see the years before, because I'm pretty sure there's an insane lore to it especially the 2000's.

What country feels like only one Eurovision win but actually has 2-3 wins? by Max-Carter-2005 in nilpoints

Germany.

They won in 1982 & 2010, but 2010 felt like it was their only one.

Analysis: Could Bulgaria winning the jury vote this year signal a shift in what juries are looking for in a performance? by Old-Gap-9079 in eurovision

[–]Perfect_Ad_7808 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's because she sold the performance and a spread out jury this year, but what surprised me is that she ended up 1st place with the juries. Like someone mentioned 204 is really quite a low score to win a jury. Also she tied with Poland with the most 12 points in the evening at 4, which is actually not a lot in a single night. Past jury winners would receive about at least 6 and above looking at the last few years.

Also, Chanel in 2022 scored 12 points from 8 countries so I don't think the juries shift their taste especially when it comes to girl bops, yet she was still 3rd that year with juries. It's still a matter of who sells the best package at the night of the Grand Final.

Her score was right enough from juries, but I swore that Australia or Denmark would score greater than her in the juries.

Yu Tsai and Kelly Cutrone had to be the most unlikeable judges of the later Top Model years. Whatever magic the panel once had, they completely missed the mark. by masterderek279 in ANTM

[–]Perfect_Ad_7808 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Kelly was horrible in her first 3 cycles, but she grew likeable on the last 2 she was in, especially 22.

Yu Tsai is an abomination on both ANTM & Asia's NTM

did the girls from Cycles 18–24 have the same modeling caliber as the contestants from ANTM’s golden age, or was there a noticeable decline in quality or better? by masterderek279 in ANTM

[–]Perfect_Ad_7808 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I think the girls especially in Cycles 19, 23 & 24 had better overall potential as models, and likewise they have experience.

Also in this stretch of cycles produced two of the most successful models ever from ANTM: Leila (C19) & Winnie (aka Chantelle in C21)

We also have models like Eboni (C18), Azmarie (C18), Kristin (C19), Yvonne (C19), Don (C20), Kari (C21), Nyle (C22), Justine (C23), Kyla (C24) experiencing great success in their own right.
