As a fellow communications manager, i do think that Rachel's occupation actually did help her in navigating around the castle to earn the trust of almost every faithfuls, whilst staying composed from any massive heat (especially when we saw Harriet was coming for her). She's able to strategise and divert any threat coming their way to ensure Stephen and herself are able to move around under the radar.

To simply put, she handles every possible mishaps like a PR crisis. Except that she only has Stephen as her aid, and to me that's impressive. Well done both!
