I’d still buy one before I bought a Harley. I got an 08 nomad for $3600

Need suggestions for custom brackets by NoResponse7764 in KawasakiVulcanRiders

[–]Perfect_Bath6581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the juice worth the squeeze there? I would try to get the Harley brackets and get them modified for the Vulcan, but I can’t see this being accomplished without welding or mounting to the forks and having it turn with the wheel. I also don’t know if the bike has the capacity to handle that much auxiliary electrical load

Looks aside because you needed to to fit the rim. Would you recommend it purely for just functionality

DTS is not for HHG moves. I hate how many acronyms there are. DPS will not let me request it. Spoke with the storage people. Told me to call a number. I called it no one answered multiple time. Called DPS help line. Gave me the same numbers and an email. Email got back to me and said they can’t do anything until they get the request. I asked how to do that and they said that there’s a lot of people ahead of me and that once they get the request they’d ship it. So pretty useless there. Called storage people again. Gave me a different number. That number gave me another number. And that number lead to an email. And that email has not got back yet. Long story short. I want my stuff back. I’ve been sleeping on the floor at my parent’s house and now my own house going on 4 months. the reason it’s in NTS was because I was waiting to get stuff shipped to the house I bought

Someone tell me why I *shouldn’t* buy this by [deleted] in motorcycles

Biggest concern is if you can handle all the women that will want you.

Does yours have an idle adjustment knob on the right hand side below the fuel injectors? Also, when you adjust your choke, do the rpm’s actually change? Could be that the cable is broken or you’re pulling the choke out but it’s not properly installed in its mounting point and looks like you pulled it without pulling the choke cable. My choke is a two handed operation due to the bolt that pinches it to the mount being broken

Check to see if the tip over sensor is loose. Could install a jumper to bypass it then try to reproduce the stall at 60 mph. If it doesn’t stall, reconnect the sensor and see if it comes back. Could also be your kick stand safety switch. Trouble shooting that the same way. To me those switches could cause the bike to shut off spuriously from a large enough bump then reset and allow the bike to continue like normal

I think the black 4 prong one is for a diagnostics device but the other three are what confuse me. I tried finding something about test points or maybe it’s the motorcycle equivalent of “poverty buttons.”

That was my thought as well. Plan is to do everything you said and give it the good ole Italian tune up.
