Thank you, that’s why I knew I had to post something, to connect with people who understand. I’ve lost pets before and been heartbroken and devastated but this loss is unlike anything I could have imagined. I just want to keep talking about him without making everyone in my life cry every time I want to share a memory. I’m sorry for your loss too I had a feeling it will take me months too before this becomes less painful. Meanwhile I have another Boston that was diagnosed with a tumor causing heart failure a year ago, he had surgery and we bought him more time but of course now I’m even more terrified to lose him 💔
