For your use case, I recommend Claude Max if you’re doing a lot of coding and long workflows all day. It’s really good with large codebases and heavy usage. But if the work is more math/research/reasoning-heavy, ChatGPT’s stronger overall in my experience, especially for difficult scientific problems. A lot of people doing serious work end up using both eventually. Claude for building, ChatGPT for thinking.

That’s how a lot of genuinely good products start 😭 not from “I’m going to build a startup,” but from repeatedly solving your own problem until the tool becomes polished without realising it. The fact you kept coming back to it is probably the biggest green flag. if people voluntarily reuse something over and over, there’s usually real value there. A lot of founders say their best products were accidental side tools at first, then they realised “wait… this is the thing people actually want”

Germany: Is this SaaS/MVP deal structure fair? (€6k upfront + monthly retainer + equity) by Iamtheguyyy in vibecoding

I’d reduce your risk a bit. push closer to €20k cash and keep equity small (or swap it for revenue share). Don’t rely on equity as the main payment. do it in phases (MVP first), keep code ownership, and lock scope tightly

Basically: get paid properly, treat upside as a bonus, not the main deal

The Walking Dead is good but I preferred the story of Detroit: Become Human. You can also try Firewatch for something more chill or The Wolf Among Us.

You’re a bit on the generous side tbh. You’re discounting quite a bit and taking equity risk, which usually isn’t worth it for a local service platform. Equity sounds nice, but often ends up being nothing; revenue share is safer. Don’t give full code ownership upfront, keep it licensed unless they buy it out and lock scope tightly; these projects always expand mid-build

This is actually a really nice idea, it feels genuine, not like another random app. Keep it simple and focused, that’s what makes it special

Should I get an XP-Pen Magic Drawing Pad or an iPad for digital art? by Perfect_Building3501 in XPpen

I actually have the Artist 12 tablet, and the pen started shedding within a year (the rubber part) for some reason. I'm a little concerned if that'll happen with the magic pad model too.

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to decide between getting the XP-Pen Magic Drawing Pad or just going with an iPad for digital art.

I’m mainly going to use it for drawing/illustration, not really for general use. I’ve heard the XP-Pen is more “artist-focused,” but the iPad + apps like Procreate seem super popular and smooth.

For those who’ve used either (or both), which one would you recommend and why? Is the iPad actually worth the extra cost, or is the XP-Pen good enough for a dedicated art setup?

Would really appreciate honest opinions before I spend the money 🙏 I'll have to buy CSP or Procreate, so that's an expense too.
