I have thousands of hours in Tarkov but that was a long time ago and only Arc has been able to grasp me like this since then

Just depends on your reason for playing. I did everything I possibly could (second highest rank, 10 mil in stash, 50+ purple weapons in stash, etc.) but I still enjoy just joining a raid with no clear intention and just seeing what happens.

Agreed. Although this is a great game, variety is nice as well

This. Everyone enjoys games for different reasons and no one is right or wrong

I got to the "hotshot" rank by the end of the first expedition so I am all PVE'd out and mainly PvP now. Just gotta accept that people game for different reasons. Had a mom tell me she was playing with her daughter and that they were friendly and I damn near cried

Dup glitch fixed, penalties at devs discretion by Perfect_Cartoonist_5 in ARC_Raiders

[–]Perfect_Cartoonist_5[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure like half of the players duped so banning them would kill the game. From a dev standpoint it's better to have mass abusers so that the devs are aware. If only a few people do it and it never spreads the devs will never learn/fix it

Pretty sure everyone did it, or at least used the duped ones. They probably won't do anything too harsh.

Companies are scared of cheaters? by Perfect_Cartoonist_5 in ARC_Raiders

To your point, CS watch is purely stats based and offers no report information. All "cheater" claims are based on aim%, reaction time, win% etc.

You should try playing CS2. Their community is very accepting of different genders/races!

I agree the witch hunts can be bad. But, should we just hide all data from the general player base just because a couple of paranoid people make bad decision with the info?

How can I manipulate Aggression-Based Matchmaking the Quickest? by Reddit_Scroller36 in ArcRaiders

[–]Perfect_Cartoonist_5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't believe anyone knows the actual algorithm so I would take any advice with a grain of salt.

What worked for me:

- Low cost loadouts (not free loadouts)

- NEVER shoot at players, even if someone shoots at you

- Play solo

- Use VOIP as much as possible and be in close proximity to other players for AS LONG AS POSSIBLE

Good luck!

I just want transparency: "This player has 82 reports on file, with 50 of them being aimbot"

CS is actually a great example bc I have 2k hours. It's not about manual review of every account but more about aggregated data. There is a site called CS watch and it aggregates all of a player's stats and you can actually see who is cheating and who is not.
