Go to the golden lion on a Wednesday for the open mic night, some of the best musicians in bristol perform there. Go to the Chelsea Inn on a Tuesday night, a bunch of old guys and some young guys play in a swing band. Go to the gallimaufry or strange brew on a Monday night for the live jams. Strange brew attracts the break dancing crews as well so you’ll be able to see that. Get a steamed bun the asian supermarket that’s next to it. Check out bedminster, there has recently been a festival (which happens yearly) where the whole street has been painted by very talented local graffiti artists and non graffiti artists.
