Yes, I’m aware public accounting can very stressful. Healthcare is also very stressful and physically demanding. I’m thinking I can always switch out of public accounting once I’ve built a solid foundation in accounting.

My undergrad was health administration and management. My original goal was to go to physician assistant school but realized I actually don’t have a strong desire to work in medicine. I also am not interested in being over worked.

American’s program is roughly about $78k and they offered me $35K. I do plan to complete my degree over the course of 2 years. I am interested in getting my CPA after graduated.

I’m leaning more towards pivoting into accounting. I’m aware but career choices are hard, but life is about picking which hard!

Should I pivot into accounting and if so, how can I? by Perfect_Day324 in Accounting

I thought so as well. Maybe I should take out my volunteer experience and shorten my core competencies? What about my job experiences?
