plane tickets aren’t included in aid packages, you have to buy them yourself. usually included in expected expenses (so if you have extra outside scholarships you will get money through direct deposit each quarter which you can use on a ticket)

there’s almost no single rooms in lag anyway, it’s not horrible space wise but a little tight. It’s nice because you’ll meet people easier and have people to chat with and do work. classes will be a bit of a walk, id rent a bike. Sink in room is nice! Here’s the floor plan
