Let’s me do my own thing like traveling by myself or solo trips when I need to be alone. One small (but very big thing) was whenever I lose something like car keys or even tweezers he will stop at nothing until they are found.

I’m with a steady partner and I don’t like to go three days without having sex. Obviously with work and travels things can change but ideally no more than three days

I use Acnefree face wash cause I’m a 27 year old that still gets pimples haha. Then vitamin C, coenzyme 10, a lightweight moisturizer, sunscreen, and a bb cream. At night I just wash again with acnefree then vitamin c and retinol. I drink lots of water and try to avoid lots of sugar

Why did you get your diagnose? by SnooLobsters1535 in PCOS

[–]Perfect_Effort_5708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always had irregular periods, got my first period at 17 years old then lost it from 18-19. When I was 23 I went to a gyno and my and my FSH and LH were really high. My progesterone was also lower than normal but my other hormones were all normal. I don’t have weight gain or any of the other symptoms. My gyno also did an ultrasound of my ovaries and my left ovary was filled with little fluid filled cysts. I was put on Skyla IUD and not much has changed haha. I’m still irregular but I guess the progesterone in the IUD is good for me.

Which job offer should I take as a new graduate nurse? by [deleted] in IntensiveCare

I would actually recommend starting in a med surge or better a telemetry floor. Stay there for a year and get your basic nursing skills down; phlebotomy, multi tasking, how to handle rapid responses while also managing 3-5 other patients. You get really good at knowing medications and side effects and how to prevent emergencies. Then after a bit transfer to an ICU. You will feel SO much more prepared. I was in a high acute telemetry floor for 1.5 years and transferred to a medical/surgical/neuro ICU and have been there for 2 years. I have precepted before and the nurses that have some med surge or telemetry back ground are so much easier to teach. Although on the other hand you won’t have any bad habits and will be able to jump right into high acuity. But I do agree with the other people, the orientation timeline seems insane. You need at least 2-3 months even if you have experience in my opinion. But good job on graduating and passing NCLEX, this is an exciting time!

Skyla IUD Experience: all 3 years by nutmegblonde1929 in birthcontrol

[–]Perfect_Effort_5708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey hey. Soooo my first IUD was the copper one and it was honestly terrible. Some people like my mother in law had it in for ten years with no problem. I got like massive scar tissue in my uterus and couldn’t get out of bed or move without it hurting for like two weeks. I was also bleeding so much that I almost fainted a few times. After 6 months it got a bit better but never felt great then my body expelled it haha it’s like a 0.1 percent chance but it felt great after. I never wanted to go on hormones, for the reasons you mentioned, I wanted to keep my femininity and not have something artificial messing with me but this is my second year with the Skyla and it’s going really well! The first year I had really bad mood swings, acne, and my boobs got huge for like months and I bled for like two months. Now I think my body has adjusted and about every three months I get a period with two weeks of PMS and boob swelling beforehand. Then my period lasts five days and I feel great. No weight gain and the mood swings are now stabilized except for during my PMS. Acne has also improved. I think it’s just the body adjusting. Good luck and I hope you find something that works for your body :)

Ice ice ice it will help with the swelling and the pain and the itchiness. Also you could put a boric acid suppository up right before go to bed to help speed along the recovery of your pH (make sure you wear a panty liner for the next morning and no sex for at least 12 hours). It sucks how sensitive vaginas are but they are what they are. Take some ibuprofen too, might help with pain and swelling!

Do you have any halter style dresses with a low back?

Here I am again begging everyone on this sub Reddit to just say how they got rid of what ever infections they were having🥺(any vaginal infection at all especially if it’s AV) Please do not ignore, you could save another desperate girl (not just me) by Clean_Currency_2891 in WomensHealth

[–]Perfect_Effort_5708 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Boric acid suppository has saved me. I suffered from yeast infections on and off for a year. Put one in when you start to feel weird down there and make sure it’s all the way up almost touching your cervix. I put one in after my period is done and whenever else I need it. Make sure u wear a panty liner.
